Description
Dome-shaped jellyfish with four oral arms that resemble cauliflowers. Coloration: light blue. These are very active-swimming jellyfish, moving through rhythmic, characteristic contractions of the bell (umbrella).
They are pelagic animals, typically found in estuaries, bays, and coastal zones.

Feeding: Very active jellyfish that require a varied and nutritious diet.
Feed with: Artemia salina nauplii, coral food preparations, jellyfish food, rotifers, frozen rotifers, mixed invertebrate food, frozen cyclops. NEVER feed red plankton (Calanus species).
Stinging: Harmless to humans
Care level: Medium. These jellyfish are very active swimmers and require a high amount of food—without it, they may shrink.
Care must be taken with water parameters and cleanliness. Water flow should be medium to high.
To avoid damage to the bell due to possible collisions with tank walls caused by strong currents, it is advisable to keep the tank as clean and smooth as possible.
